dirty carpet

Hosts were incredibly accommodating, but the carpet on the stairs needed cleaning. The views from our room were stunning.

incredible breakfast

The owners were super welcoming and made us feel at home right away. Our room was peaceful, clean, and had a stunning river view. The breakfast was incredible, and we even got fresh milk for our tea! Definitely bookmarking this place for our next trip. 🥰

laundry smell

i almost thought i’d give this place a good review, but the strong smell of laundry detergent was overpowering, not to mention the strange gap in the twin beds i kept falling into! as if that wasn’t enough, a complimentary gift of some sort woudl ve been nice for such inconvenience. unbelievable.

uphill walk

Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options including full English, cereals, and fresh fruits.

The walk back to the hotel from town can be slightly uphill, which might be tiring after a long day of exploring.

Had a wonderful night with a delicious full English breakfast and rooms equipped with tea and coffee facilities. I loved relaxing in the cozy garden area and enjoying the fresh air. Just wish there were more options for parking nearby, but it didn’t spoil my experience! 😊

We had a great time exploring the nearby town while enjoying lovely river views from our room. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a delicious cheese omelette that my wife raved about! It was the perfect start to our family adventures.

In my wife’s opinion, better restroom facilities are needed.

Hosts made us feel very welcomed right from check-in. The room had a comfy bed with stunning views across the river. Loved the tea and coffee facilities along with fresh water provided daily. Breakfast was excellent, with options that catered to everyone's tastes. The one drawback was the attention to detail. some decor felt a bit dated. it didn't overshadow the great experience we had. The location was a short 15-minute walk to town and nearby good pub food options.
