Botleigh Villa - Rochester (Kent)

Hosts were accommodating, but the carpet on the stairs needed cleaning. The views from our room were fine.

So glad we chose it, spent 1 lovely day here. The staff was very amiable and welcoming at all levels.

liked the deluxe room with a lovely bathroom and the way it was setup. location: the hotel was near to the castle / cathedral as well as quiet residential area overlooking river. cafe the bohemian coffee house located 1 km away was a nice surprise.

The owners were super cute. Our room was peaceful, clean, and had a fine river view. The breakfast was very nice, and we even got fresh milk for our tea! Definitely bookmarking this place for our next trip 🥰

I almost thought i'd give this place a good review, but the strong smell of laundry detergent was overpowering, not to mention the strange gap in the twin beds i kept falling into! As if that wasn't enough, a complimentary gift of some sort woudl ve been nice for such inconvenience. Unbelievable.

The views from my room were amazing! I loved waking up to the fine river scenery every morning. Breakfast was an absolute treat, with options freshly prepared to our requests.

Enjoy lovely river views, a serene location, and accommodating hosts. The bed was delightfully comfy, and breakfast was an exquisite spread of options. Just a short walk into town, it's perfect for exploration. Truly, a good experience you won't want to miss!

Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options including full English, cereals, and fresh fruits.

The walk back to the hotel from town can be slightly uphill, which might be tiring after a long day of exploring.

Had a wonderful night with a delicious full English breakfast and rooms equipped with tea and coffee facilities. I loved relaxing in the cozy garden area and enjoying the fresh air. Just wish there were more options for parking nearby, but it didn't spoil my experience! 😊

The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a delicious cheese omelette that my wife raved about! It was the perfect start to our family adventures.

In my wife's opinion, better restroom facilities are needed.

Hosts. The room had a comfy bed with fine views across the river. Loved the tea and coffee facilities along with fresh water provided daily. Breakfast was excellent, with options that catered to everyone's tastes. The one drawback was the attention to detail. Some decor felt a bit dated. It didn't overshadow the great experience we had. The location was a short 15-minute walk to town and nearby good pub food options.

Convenient on-site parking is available. The room is spacious and comfortable. The villa's location is perfect, just a short walk to the heart of Rochester, making it easy to access various attractions, the market, and the train station.

The rooms here are spacious, clean, and come with a large walk-in shower and tea/coffee facilities.
